Over the next two years, the organization managed to re-set the Board’s expectations about what could be accomplished, and focus on transforming how the staff team collaborated with each other.

Mike Welch
Mike is a long-time association management professional with a great deal of experience in association governance, component relations, and volunteer management for national membership organizations. He is relatively new to project and portfolio management. As Strategy Delivery Office Director for the American Planning Association, he is responsible for centralized strategic management and oversight of APAs portfolio of projects, project delivery teams, and project delivery approaches and methodologies to enable the successful delivery of the organization’s priorities.
