Live participation in all four sessions is required for certification eligibility.
You have read the books.
You have attended the webinars.
You have earned certifications, collected templates, studied industry standards, searched Google, asked AI, listened to podcasts, and learned from different PMO, project, portfolio, transformation, and change methodologies.
Every source gives you another useful piece.
Yet when a new challenge appears, you are still left trying to determine how the pieces connect, which problem deserves attention first, and what your organization actually needs next.
“I know a lot, and I know our organization needs a better approach. But there are so many things we could do that I am not always confident we are solving the right problem, starting in the right place, or building this in the right order.”
You know the visible delivery problem may be connected to decisions, priorities, sponsorship, capacity, governance, change, or value much earlier in the strategy lifecycle.
But saying that out loud can make you sound negative, political, or as though you are blaming the business.
You are expected to help strategy move faster, improve delivery, strengthen visibility, and create better outcomes.
But you may not have the access, decision rights, executive support, or organizational trust required to fix the system alone.
But the organization may still struggle with too many priorities, overloaded teams, slow decisions, inconsistent sponsorship, unclear ownership, and work that is moving without creating enough measurable business IMPACT.
More reporting. More process. More meetings. Another template. Another tool. Another improvement initiative.
You know the answer is bigger than any one of those things.
Templates, tools, and process are necessary.
But they are not the value.
You need one complete system that helps you understand what is happening, see how the pieces connect, determine what must be understood first, and navigate the right next move.
That is what Practitioner is designed to give you.
Nearly 30 years building, transforming, and advising PMOs and strategy delivery functions
2021 World PMO Influencer of the Year
Practitioner turns the information you have collected into one connected way of seeing, thinking, deciding, and leading.
01
Understand how all six stages of the IMPACT Engine work together across the full strategy delivery journey.
Stop evaluating every challenge as an isolated problem.
02
Apply the system through realistic case work, practical exercises, official tools, peer discussion, and instructor guidance.
Build understanding through application, not passive content consumption.
03
Develop the confidence and competence to ask stronger questions, explain the logic behind the next move, and navigate strategy delivery more effectively.
Then demonstrate your learning through certification.
You do not need to arrive with every answer.
You need the willingness to challenge old assumptions, learn the complete system, practice the work, and step more fully into your role as a strategy delivery leader.
You are not behind.
You have been trying to solve a connected strategy delivery problem with disconnected pieces.
Now you have a different path.
Imagine being in a leadership meeting when a strategy delivery problem surfaces.
Instead of reaching for another template or searching for the newest framework, you understand where to look.
You can see how the issue connects to the larger strategy lifecycle.
You know which questions to ask, what must be understood first, and which part of the system should guide the next move.
You are not guessing. You are navigating.
Recognize when a delivery problem may be connected to strategy, prioritization, governance, sponsorship, capacity, change, decision-making, or value realization upstream.
Stop trying to improve everything at once.
Identify the focused next move most likely to create progress and visible value.
Use a business-value lens instead of relying only on project-management language, process explanations, or activity reporting.
Understand what must be explored, validated, and clarified before recommending another process, tool, governance change, service, or solution.
Stop forcing people to reconcile disconnected methods and terminology.
Create a shared understanding of how the complete strategy delivery system works.
Ground your decisions in a complete system, then adapt the system intelligently to the organization in front of you.
“This program provides a lot of valuable points that attendees can take back to their current work and start to define and deliver outcomes business leaders really want.
Helpful in elevating how to talk the language of value delivery, and changing how people and teams work together to ensure delivery of outcomes versus outputs.”
Teresa
In 1999, I was asked to build my first PMO during the internet boom.
I had no playbook.
There was very little guidance available, so I asked questions, listened to executives, identified the problems that mattered, and built only what helped the organization move forward.
That experience taught me to trust the business problem before reaching for a standard answer.
As the PMO industry grew, I did what committed leaders do.
I learned everything I could.
I absorbed courses, standards, methodologies, templates, frameworks, and accepted best practices.
But the more we implemented what PMOs were “supposed” to do, the more resistance we encountered.
We created processes and tools designed to help while stakeholders experienced them as friction.
We were doing more project management, but we were not necessarily creating more business value.
That forced a fundamental shift.
Instead of beginning with what a PMO should build, I returned to the questions that had worked from the beginning:
Over nearly three decades of building, transforming, and advising PMOs and strategy delivery functions, those lessons became the IMPACT Engine System.
A complete, iterative approach for connecting strategy, decisions, delivery, people, change, outcomes, and measurable value.
I created Practitioner because you should not have to spend years assembling disconnected guidance, learning through avoidable resistance, or wondering which idea applies next.
Practitioner gives you the complete system, the opportunity to practice it, and the credential that validates what you have learned.

Each stage strengthens the next.
Together, the six stages show you how to understand organizational reality, define the right problems, sequence the work, deliver visible value, and continue evolving as strategy and business needs change.
STAGE 1
Become the Strategy Navigator
Shift from process-first activity to outcome-driven leadership.
Develop the IMPACT Driver mindset required to look across the full strategy lifecycle and focus on the business outcomes the work is meant to create.
STAGE 2
Understand reality before prescribing
Engage stakeholders.
Listen deeply.
Understand organizational needs, expectations, friction, strengths, and context before recommending another process, tool, service, governance change, or solution.
STAGE 3
Clarify the right problems and outcomes
Distinguish visible symptoms from probable contributing causes.
Define value-focused services and solutions that connect to what stakeholders and business leaders need the organization to achieve.
STAGE 4
Sequence the IMPACT journey
Turn insight into a focused, iterative path forward.
Prioritize what matters, build stakeholder engagement, create visible progress, and bring people with the work.
STAGE 5
Lead change and demonstrate value
Support adoption.
Strengthen delivery culture.
Communicate progress through the outcomes and value the work is intended to create.
STAGE 6
Measure, learn, and adapt
Use feedback, evidence, outcomes, and changing priorities to refine the approach.
Continue increasing value instead of treating improvement as a one-time implementation.
You are not learning six isolated methods. You are learning how the complete strategy delivery system works together.
The learning is concentrated into four half-day sessions so you can develop an end-to-end understanding without spending months trying to assemble the system yourself.
Each session builds on the one before it.

SESSION 4
OCT 7, 9, 14, 16
9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Eastern
2:00–6:00 p.m. BST
Live participation in all four sessions is required for certification eligibility.
Practitioner session recordings are not distributed.
You are not memorizing definitions.
You are not collecting another disconnected set of templates.
You are learning how the full system works together, practicing how to use it, and building the fluency to navigate strategy delivery with greater clarity, confidence, competence, and credibility.
Move through the system in a clear order with real-time instruction, explanation, discussion, and guidance.
Apply the system in a realistic environment and see how decisions in one stage influence the work that follows.
Use IMPACT Engine frameworks, worksheets, and exercises to turn concepts into structured thinking, stronger questions, clearer decisions, and focused action.
Learn beside PMO, transformation, portfolio, and strategy delivery leaders facing similar organizational pressures.
Ask questions, test your thinking, challenge assumptions, and strengthen how you interpret the work.
Use your structured field guide throughout the live experience and retain it for reflection, continued learning, and future reference.
Use the included book as your working reference.
Already own the book?
Share the additional copy with a sponsor, executive, colleague, or team member you want to bring into the IMPACT conversation.
Identify the challenge, capability, or next move you want to continue exploring after Practitioner.
This is a focused continuation path, not a completed organization-wide implementation roadmap.
Complete the assessment designed to validate your understanding and applied judgment.
Earn the Certified IMPACT Engine Practitioner™ credential after meeting the attendance and certification requirements.
The credential matters.
It demonstrates that you completed the live learning experience and validated your understanding of the complete IMPACT Engine System.
But certification is not the end goal.
The goal is becoming the leader who can see the system more clearly, ask stronger questions, understand what must happen first, and navigate the right next move with greater confidence and competence.
The goal is not memorizing terminology.
The goal is demonstrating sound judgment using the complete IMPACT Engine System.
The complete Practitioner transformation is inside the core program.
These bonuses help you arrive with greater focus, communicate value more clearly, organize your thinking, and prepare for the leadership conversations that move change forward.

The book gives you the foundational ideas and language.
Practitioner gives you the complete live learning journey, structured guidance, realistic case application, practical exercises, peer learning, official tools, and certification.
You build fluency by seeing how the full system works together and practicing how to use it.
Your included hardcover copy can become a working copy or a resource you share with a sponsor, leader, colleague, or team member.
Practitioner is not another disconnected collection of PMO tools.
It brings the full strategy delivery journey into one integrated six-stage system and shows how the disciplines connect in sequence.
Experienced leaders often gain significant value because they already know many of the individual practices and can now see them through one connected strategy delivery lens.
As Jeanick shared:
“Reviewing concepts allowed me to see them from a different angle, which enriched my depth of knowledge and ability to apply the techniques.”
You do not need to lead a large PMO or hold an executive title.
You do need enough professional context to understand organizational delivery challenges and a commitment to learn how the complete system works.
The sequenced framework supports both emerging and experienced leaders by creating one shared structure for the work.
The IMPACT Engine System applies across PMO, transformation, portfolio, program, and strategy delivery environments.
You will practice through a realistic case and use the learning to strengthen how you interpret your own organizational context.
Practitioner teaches the complete system and develops judgment.
It does not claim that one generic answer can replace stakeholder engagement, evidence, organizational context, or deeper implementation support.
Practitioner teaches the complete IMPACT Engine System end to end, provides live case-based practice, builds fluency, and certifies your learning.
IES and Mastery provide deeper support for applying the system inside your real organization.
Practitioner teaches and certifies.
The deeper implementation paths support continued real-organization application.
The core experience includes approximately 16 live learning hours across four half-day sessions.
Practitioner session recordings are not distributed.
Live participation protects open discussion and allows you to benefit from application, interaction, peer learning, questions, and instructor guidance.
Attendance in all four sessions is required for certification eligibility.
Enrollment is nonrefundable because Practitioner is a live cohort experience and program materials are prepared in advance.
When circumstances prevent participation, you may transfer your enrollment one time to the next available live Practitioner cohort, subject to availability.
After completing the live participation requirements, you will take a 50-question proctored online assessment.
The exam is designed to validate understanding and applied judgment rather than simple memorization.
The passing standard is 85%.
One complimentary retake is included after review of the applicable material.
The payment plan spreads the investment across three monthly payments and includes a modest premium for administration, payment risk, and delayed collection.
The public payment-plan investment is three monthly payments of $625, for a total of $1,875.
The payment plan is available through July 24, 2026, so all scheduled payments can be completed before materials must be released for the October cohort.
Use the customizable Practitioner Support Request Letter to explain the capabilities, credential, program structure, and business relevance to your leader.
For team enrollment, invoice, procurement, or private organizational cohort questions, contact the PMO Strategies team.
Live captions are available.
Share accessibility requirements during registration so the PMO Strategies team can support your participation effectively.
Practitioner is designed to change more than what you know.
Participants describe changes in how they see the work, communicate with leaders, trust their capability, and approach the strategy delivery challenges in front of them.
BEFORE
Enterprise challenges were creating friction across functions.
DURING PRACTITIONER
Through the Assess phase, Diane identified systemic patterns underneath the friction.
AFTER
She was able to frame the issue at the executive level in a way that immediately resonated.
The clarity of the structure made alignment easier, conversations more productive, and application of the rest of the IMPACT Engine System a more natural progression.
“The IMPACT Driver Mindset shift changed how I approach enterprise challenges.
Through the Assess phase, I identified systemic patterns that were driving friction across functions.
That perspective allowed me to frame the issue at the executive level, where it immediately resonated.
The clarity of structure made alignment easier and conversations more productive.
From there, applying the rest of the IMPACT Engine System became a natural progression rather than a push.”
Diane
BEFORE
Reading the book created understanding, but Shilo wanted greater confidence applying the system in the workplace.
DURING PRACTITIONER
The case studies created opportunities to apply the principles individually and in small groups with instructor guidance.
The experience also provided practical insight into real PMO challenges.
AFTER
Shilo left with much greater confidence bringing the IMPACT Engine into the workplace.
“This engaging program provides excellent exposure to the IMPACT Engine System, without having to deep dive into the full system straight away.
The case studies allow you to apply the principles, individually and in small groups whilst being guided by an instructor.
They also provide expert advice on PMO challenges you are facing in your workplace, which was incredibly helpful for me.
I now have much more confidence in taking this into my workplace than I had from just reading the book.
Thank you so much to the PMO Strategies team for a wonderful experience.
It is so obvious that you care.”
Shilo
BEFORE
Donne needed an energetic shift and a stronger connection to the value and leadership capability already present.
DURING PRACTITIONER
The IMPACT Driver mindset, program resources, and continued leadership guidance created a stronger foundation for growth.
AFTER
Donne left prepared to shift personal narrative and behavior toward stronger business outcomes at work and beyond.
“The IMPACT Engine Practitioner program was the energetic boost that I needed to recognize my inherent value in all facets of my life and specifically at work.
I have the resources to build my leadership skills every day and Laura’s voice in my head reminding me that my capacity to lead is infinite.
Now with the resources and the mindset, I am armed to shift my own narrative and behavior toward better business outcomes at work and beyond.
Take the risk, do it for yourself and those around you.
Give yourself permission to fully own your leadership trajectory.
This program is worth the time, energy, and investment.”
Donne
Your hesitation may not be about whether your organization needs a stronger strategy delivery capability.
You may be weighing whether this is the right time, the right level, or a decision you can justify.
Those are reasonable questions.
Let’s address them directly.
This is not an investment in information you use once and leave behind.
You are building a complete way of seeing, thinking, communicating, and leading that you can carry into every PMO, transformation, portfolio, and strategy delivery role that follows.
The credential validates your learning.
The larger value is the clarity, confidence, competence, and credibility you continue using long after the cohort ends.
You are likely already spending time responding to escalations, searching for answers, rebuilding explanations, adjusting governance, resolving competing priorities, and deciding what the PMO should improve next.
Practitioner concentrates the complete system into four live half-day sessions so you can stop rebuilding the answer one challenge at a time.
Practitioner does not promise that one program removes organizational politics or gives you authority another leader controls.
It strengthens what you can control: how you see the system, the questions you ask, the language you use, the decisions you influence, and the credibility you build through the way you lead the work.
You are the only person who can decide whether Practitioner is the right next step.
When the answer is yes, we are ready to help you begin.
Dear IMPACT Driver,
By this point, you probably know that the problem is not a lack of effort.
You are doing the work.
You care deeply about helping your organization deliver what matters.
You are often the person others rely on to make the messy work visible, organized, and survivable.
But you should not have to carry the responsibility of strategy delivery while trying to build the system from disconnected pieces.
Practitioner is not a promise that four sessions will remove every organizational barrier or implement the system for you.
It is a commitment from me and the PMO Strategies team to teach you the complete system, help you practice how the pieces connect, give you the tools and guidance to build fluency, and validate your learning through certification.
You do not need another pile of information.
You need a way to see the work more clearly.
You need the confidence to know where to look and what to ask.
You need the competence to make the right moves in the right order.
You need the language to connect the work to the business outcomes leaders care about.
And you need to know you are not alone on the journey.
You belong at the leadership table, my friend.
Not because you created another report, implemented another template, or made the process more consistent.
You belong there because you can help the organization make better decisions, focus the work that matters, accelerate strategy delivery, and create measurable business IMPACT.
That is the leader Practitioner is designed to help you become.
We’ve got your back
