What Does Your Resume Says About You?

Don’t think you need an updated resume? Think again!

Even if you have a nice cozy job and are a “lifer” at your company, you still want to have an updated resume available at all times. Why? Things change.

You could need it simply to show leadership how much you have grown in your career and why you are primed for that next promotion. Departments change, moves are made, “growth opportunities” come and go. You don’t want to be caught off guard (and scrambling) when that dream job comes calling. It’s a smart move to have your resume and other resources up to snuff at all times so that you are prepared to show your best self to hiring managers, future bosses, or your next mentor. Join me for a session to help you get your resume up to speed, what to include and what not to include, so that you are ready when you need it.

  1. Review the video that provides training applicable to the What Your Resume Says About You!
  2. Use the Workbook to record lesson “takeaways“ and key points, and to list the specific steps you will take to act on what you learned in this lesson.

Don’t forget to download your materials!

A Note on PDUs

The course is a combination of watching the training videos, reading the materials, performing the exercises and taking the quiz. If you do all of this, you will be eligible for the 3.50 Instructor-led training PDUs upon completion of the course and all associated lesson materials.  Remember, the online or Digital Media Education Instructor-led training PDUs includes the TOTAL amount of time it takes for the course and ALL associated lesson materials.   That is defined as the total time it takes to complete the review of the course video on the Training tab, as well as the companion readings and completion of all associated exercises, workbooks, and/or worksheets, and the test of knowledge acquired on the Quiz tab.

For instructions on reporting your PDUs for this course, please visit the PDUs Reporting page.
